Basic Info

Birthdate:04-21

Bio
Who I am:
I'm a 29 year old dutch/english female living in ireland/ New Zealand Canada with a pet snake called Sir Hiss currently being snake-sat by my Brother. I write for fun and have been known to volunteer with St John and play in the SCA more or less actively. I'm a geek. I can get excited about just about anything too.

What I'm interested in:
Aside from my interests list? Living well. Being able to look myself in the eye in the mirror in the morning. Currently, losing weight to get rid of some of my health issues. Finding my glasses (I swear the wee folk keep moving them!)

My Goals:
This year i want
- to lose another 10 kg, and keep them off. I did that this year so I can do it again!
- to get fitter again, i'm horribly out of shape
- to get a job (kinda a necessity)
- to move to canada (feb/march most likely)
- to find myself someone cute to share that life with (well as long as i'm making a wish list....and cute is a requirement too! )
- write a book
- do my mcse's.

My Friends policy:
I will friend people and remove them from the friends list a month later if they haven't friended me back. Friendship is a two way street, and while I'm willing to try, I won't force my drivel on anyone.

If you friend me, I will friend you back.

Books read this year:
Luck in the shadows (Lynn Flewelling)- thoroughly enjoyable
vehicle maintenance for women (can't remember) - utter rubbish.
Stalking Darkness (Lynn Flewelling)- Good read. Poor Alec get whumped mercilessly
Traitors moon (Lynn Flewelling)- Good read, this time Seregil gets whumped though more mentally than physically.
Into the storm (Suzanne Brockmann) another troubleshooters book, pretty good on the action, Lindsey Fontaine gets to take on a serial killer to save Tracy.
Shadows Return (Lynn Flewelling) real whumping this time.
Into the fire (Suzanne Brockmann) Also a troubleshooters; Izzy gets married and Vin Murphy redeemed.
Gone too far (Suzanne Brockmann)- Max and Gina as well as Sam and Alyssa and Sam's wife and kid..read it in 24 hrs.
flashpoint (suzanne Brockmann) - first in teh troubleshooters series with the org, rescuing a laptop and Sofia.
Black powder War (Naomi Novik)- 3rd in the Temeraire series, not much to do with black powder, but war stuff!
The good fairies of New York (martin miller)- starts slow, but gets better with scottish fairies
Master of Darkness (Susan Sizemore) - vampire romance with Laurent the vampire impersonating Sid Wolf.
Dark Gold( christine freehan) - third in the dark series, this one was amusing for Alex who resists her vampire at every turn
High- confessions of an international drug smuggler (Brian O'Dea) not my usual fare, but an interesting take on drug smuggling
Uppity women of medieval times(Vicki Leon)- hillarious looks at medieval women!
Strange Candy - Laurell K. Hamilton - a collection of short stories, including an adorable lake monster
